Terms of Service

Memory Realm provides a map-based virtual world where users can create, build, enter, view, and personalize virtual places. Real-world maps are used only as a familiar spatial reference layer.

Creating, reserving, building, listing, buying, or entering a virtual place in Memory Realm does not grant rights in any physical location, access rights, occupancy rights, control, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with any real-world physical location, business, organization, location owner, resident, or public authority.

You may use Email OTP authentication to create or access an account. You are responsible for using an email address you control and for keeping access to that email secure.

We may limit, suspend, or remove access to Memory Realm features when needed to protect users, the service, legal compliance, or platform integrity.

You are responsible for the names, introductions, avatars, photos, messages, and other content you add to Memory Realm. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share that content.

Do not upload or post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing, misleading, or harmful to others. We may remove content or restrict accounts when content creates legal, safety, privacy, or platform integrity concerns.

By adding content to Memory Realm, you give us permission to host, process, display, resize, compress, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

Memory Realm may offer templates, virtual place features, platform coins, listings, and marketplace transactions. These are digital platform features and do not represent ownership of, or rights in, physical locations.

Coins are platform utility credits for supported Memory Realm features. They are not cash, bank deposits, stored monetary value, securities, or withdrawable money. Promotional, granted, or bonus coins are not purchased value, are not refundable, and may be changed or ended by Memory Realm. Creator Earnings, where available, are separate from Coin Wallet balances and may be subject to additional rules before any future payout feature is enabled.

Marketplace listing and purchase features may be changed, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves.

Memory Realm uses third-party services such as Supabase, MapTiler, Stripe, and hosting infrastructure to operate the product. Those services may process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Some prototype visual assets are licensed from third-party creators under Creative Commons Attribution licenses. Credits are available on the Credits page.

Memory Realm is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent availability of any feature, or preservation of all user content in every circumstance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memory Realm and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities arising from use of the service.

We may update these Terms as Memory Realm evolves. When we make material changes, we will make the updated version available in the app. Continued use of Memory Realm after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
