Memory Realm

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Memory Realm collects, how it is used, and how virtual place content and media are handled.

Last updated: May 24, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your login email, account nickname, account avatar, authentication identifiers, and account timestamps.

We collect Memory Realm activity and product data such as virtual place names, map coordinates for virtual places, template selections, place content, uploaded media, messages, favorites, wallet and transaction records, creator earnings records, support content interactions, and app usage data needed to operate the service.

When you use payment features, Stripe processes payment details. Memory Realm stores payment-related records such as top-up attempts, settlement status, Stripe identifiers, coin ledger entries, and transaction history, but does not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, operate the map and 3D place experience, store and display virtual place content, generate signed media URLs, process wallet and marketplace actions, provide support, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve Memory Realm.

We may compress, resize, transcode, cache, or otherwise process uploaded media so it can be displayed efficiently and safely in the product.

3. How information is shared

Place content that you make visible inside a virtual place may be viewable by other users who can access that place in Memory Realm.

We share information with service providers that help operate Memory Realm, including authentication, database, storage, map, payment, hosting, analytics, security, and support providers.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the service.

4. Storage and media

User-uploaded place media is stored in private storage buckets. The frontend should receive backend-generated signed URLs rather than raw public storage object paths.

Signed URLs may expire and may be regenerated by the service when needed to display authorized content.

5. Data choices

You can edit account profile information, edit content for virtual places you control, remove photo placements from places, and delete uploaded media from your account media library where supported by the app.

Some records, such as transaction ledgers, payment settlement records, abuse prevention logs, or legal compliance records, may need to be retained even if other content is deleted.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect Memory Realm data, including server-side access controls, private storage, and signed media URLs. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Memory Realm is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Memory Realm without appropriate consent, contact us through the support contact shown in My Profile -> Help.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, laws, or operating practices change. Questions can be sent to the support contact shown in My Profile -> Help.
